5 Best New Proclaim Features of 2013

2013 was a big year for Proclaim subscribers. You saw the amount of media available in Proclaim more than double, and enjoyed the introduction of several new features. Here are some of the highlights.

On-Screen Bible—Probably the coolest new feature introduced in 2013, the On-Screen Bible became available just before Christmas. It brings a Scripture passage to life with custom animations. You need to see this feature in action to understand how powerful it really is:

Survey Signals—Proclaim launched with the revolutionary Signals feature, empowering pastors to send messages directly to congregants through their mobile devices. Survey Signals took that power one step farther, creating a feedback loop for congregants to respond to survey questions in real time. Pastors are using this feature to solicit feedback, collect ideas, and learn more about their congregation.

Improved announcements—While announcements are not new to Proclaim, we did overhaul them in 2013. The new announcement service item is easier to use and more elegant than ever before.

Print slides—A direct result of your feedback, Faithlife was expanded to include printing and sharing entire Proclaim presentations. Now you can view, share, and print your presentations in one of three different formats.

Faithlife panel—We know that collaboration between a pastor and a worship leader is critical to a smooth-running church, and Proclaim removes many of the barriers to communication—using a Faithlife group to keep the presentation team on the same page. Over the summer, we added the Faithlife panel to bring the conversation from the Faithlife group into Proclaim in real time, so team members can now communicate within the software.

All these feature updates came automatically to Proclaim subscribers for free, and we expect even more new features and improvements in the year ahead. Subscribe today, and you’ll get a cloud-based presentation tool that gets more powerful with every new release.

Download Proclaim for free and try it with no strings attached. After you fall in love, you can choose between an affordable monthly price or saving more with an annual subscription.

Born in WV, Ray escaped to North Carolina at a young age. He came to Logos after an 8 year stint at a faith-based nonprofit in New York. When he is not assembling sequences of words, he’s probably running, surfing or shooting skeet, but you should probably go look for him. He has a terrible sense of direction and is probably lost.
